{{spoiler}}In the story, Super Why, the super hero alias of Whyatt Beanstalk, a nine-year old boy whose brother is Jack of ''Jack and the Beanstalk'' fame, along with his friends, Alpha Pig (alias The Littlest Pig of ''The Three Little Pigs''), Wonder Red (alias the titular character of ''Little Red Riding Hood'') and Princess Presto (alias Princess Pea, the daughter of the Princess of ''The Princess and the Pea''), collectively known as "The Super Readers", fly into C. Clement Moore's famous poem "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" (aka ''[[A Visit From St. Nicholas]]'') to ask why [[Santa Claus]] delivers gifts to children, this after wondering the same question on Christmas Eve. Throughout the story, Alpha Pig uses his letter net to catch falling toys with letters attached, Princess Presto writes out the word "snack" to help find Santa, and Super Why changes the story at a house with no chimney to a candy cane ladder to help Santa Claus enter a home, and afterwards, Santa gives the Super Readers a ride in his sleigh. Throughout the episode, viewers are encouraged to find red glittery letters to spell out a "Super Story Answer" to Whyatt's question about Santa, which is revealed to be "HAPPY", like how Santa makes children happy every Christmas by making and delivering gifts.
