A Christmas Memory is a 1997 made-for-TV movie based on a story written by Truman Capote. It was directed by Glenn Jordan.
Synopsis
Buddy's parents are divorced and he has been left in the care of four older cousins, all unmarried siblings. He develops a paticularly close relationship with cousin Sook, a simple woman. They spend lots of time together, and at Christmas they always bake her famous fruitcakes. When the oldest of the siblings, Jennie, becomes concerned that Buddy spends too much time with Sook, and is not growing up properly among his elderly family members, she decides that he must be sent away to military school.
