Andy Williams was an American pop singer who recorded 44 albums, sold more than 100 million records worldwide, and was also the host of his own television variety show from 1962 to 1971 which won three Emmy Awards. He also hosted and took part in various Christmas specials with Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, the Osmonds, and others.

He recorded eight Christmas albums over the years and was known as "Mr. Christmas" due to his specials as well as the success of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year", which has been used in many Christmas movies, television shows and commercials.

His other notable hits include "Moon River", "Can't Get Used to Losing You", "Days of Wine and Roses", "Butterfly", "Where Do I Begin", "The Sweetheart Tree", and "Almost There".
