Dame Angela Brigid Lansbury (October 16, 1925 - October 11, 2022) was a British-Irish-American actress and singer whose career spanned almost eight decades. She was best known for her starring role as Jessica Fletcher in the long-running mystery series Murder, She Wrote, and also voiced Mrs. Potts in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
