"Baseball - Bah, Humbug!" is the Christmas episode of the CTV animated series D'Myna Leagues, produced and aired as the seventh episode of its first season.
Plot[]
With Commissioner Radcliffe poised to destroy the Mynas, a ghost from baseball's past arrives to plead with him. Radcliffe pulls a tricky legal maneuver that will enable him to buy the Mynas' stadium (Da Roost) out from under them and convert it to Radcliffe World- the world's largest (and tackiest) theme park. While the Mynas search desperately for a way to block the deal, a sleeping Radcliffe is visited by the Ghost of Old Carney, his one-time first-base coach. Old Carney takes Radcliffe on a tour through his past- a la A Christmas Carol- hoping to inspire a change of heart. Instead, Radcliffe's resolve hardens spectacularly. He'll destroy Da Roost… he'll destroy the Mynas...he'll destroy baseball itself! It's up to Lefty to mastermind a last-ditch scheme that might- just might- save the team.
