After an address mix-up, Charlotte and her family find themselves spending Christmas at her college frenemy Jackie's house. Compared to Charlotte's imperfect, humble home-life, Jackie's seemingly blissful, sophisticated lifestyle is enough to make Charlotte go to great lengths to find out whether or not it's all true. She's, at first, ashamed of her kids and husband because they just don't seem to measure up to a picture-perfect family. However, when her jealousy begins to disintegrate the love between everyone, Charlotte must find a way to accept her and her family's imperfections, shift her perspective, and put aside her jealousy to save Christmas.
