"Blue's First Holiday" is the second holiday-themed episode of the Nick Jr. hybrid series Blue's Clues, produced and aired as the thirty-fifth episode of its fourth season. Based on the story by co-creator Angela C. Santomero, it was released on VHS and DVD on September 30, 2003 before its Nick Jr. debut on December 12th of the same year.

When the characters of the Blue's Clues house gather for the holidays, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper show us a special present - two videos showing everyone when they were younger. We take a look back and see Baby Joe and Young Steve as well as younger versions of many of the characters. Find out about how Steve first got Blue. See the very first time that Steve and Blue ever played Blue's Clues. The episode also features a special phone call by Steve.

The episode was premiered on the "Blue's First Holiday" VHS and DVD release by Paramount Home Entertainment on September 30, 2003. Both formats also include "Joe's Surprise Party", which is previously made available on Toys "R" Us-exclusive "Blue's Clues 100th Episode Celebration" VHS, while the DVD also includes the two additional episodes. It also made available on the Nickelodeon Favorites: "Merry Christmas!" DVD release in 2011.
