George Robert "Bob" Newhart is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and voice actor, noted for his deadpan and slightly stammering speech delivery. He is probably best known for starring in his self-titled NBC variety show The Bob Newhart Show, as well as voicing Bernard in Disney's The Rescuers and its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under.
