Bubbles is one of the three protagonists of the Cartoon Network original series The Powerpuff Girls. She is the most tender-hearted of the Powerpuff Girls, and as such, she is considered the cutest of the three, but she can defeat villains and monsters just as well as her sisters.
In the anime adaptation, Powerpuff Girls Z, Bubbles (also known as Miyako Gotokuji in the original Japanese version) is as compassionate and innocent as she was in the original series, but she is also notably more mature than the original character. She is also rather ditzy, and doesn't seem to understand her powers completely. Her weapon in the anime series is a giant bubble wand.
In the 2016 reboot series, her appearance differs slightly from her original counterpart, as she has bigger pig tails and visible blue hairties in her hair. Also, her pigtails are placed on top of her head, instead of at the sides of her head.
