Carlos Casagrande (Sr.) is Ronnie Anne and Bobby Santiago's maternal uncle in the Nickelodeon animated series The Casagrandes, originally introduced as a minor recurring character in its sister show, The Loud House. He is Maria Santiago's brother and Frida Puga's husband, and the father of Carlota, CJ, Carl, and Carlitos. He is an easy-going, caring father who is a marine biologist at a university in Great Lakes City (and has also occasionally guest-lectured at Fairway University, the college that Bobby's girlfriend Lori now attends). As such, Carlos is typically seen with a book in his hands, which often distracts him from whatever is happening around him, and frequently spouts off useless bits of the information he reads.
Carlos appears alongside the rest of his family in The Casagrandes' Christmas episode, "A Very Casagrandes Christmas".
