"Christmas Vacation" is the opening song of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, appearing in place of Lindsey Buckingham's "Holiday Road" from the previous Vacation films. It was written by the husband-wife songwriting team of Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, and was performed by Mavis Staples.
In 2007, Monique Coleman performed a cover of the song for the 2007 Christmas album Disney Channel Holiday.
