"Christmas is Cancelled" is the Christmas episode of the short-lived CBBC animated series Little Monsters, originally aired in the 1998 holiday season.
Plot[]
It's Christmas Eve, and Wesley's parents are doing their best to send him to bed. But Wesley, being Wide-Awake Wesley, does everything he could to stay awake, like watch TV, and do a jigsaw puzzle. But it was up to Wesley's mum to drag him off to bed. Once Santa arrives at Wesley's house, he waits as long as he could for Wesley to go to sleep. Once enough time had passed, Santa decided to cancel Christmas, much to the dismay of everybody. Even a newspaper salesman holds out a newspaper saying that the cancellation of Christmas was Wesley's fault. But as it turns out, Wesley had been having a bad dream, and he therefore promises to go to bed when he's told to... well, at least on Christmas Eve.
