Chuck E. Cheese (full name Charles Entertainment Cheese) is the titular mouse mascot of the Chuck E. Cheese (formerly Pizza Time Theater) chain of family entertainment centers. Chuck E. is a mouse (formerly rat) who is nice, outgoing, and friendly to all types of children and their families. He likes to sing, dance, and entertain his visitors, and is the leader of his main group of friends, such as Helen Henny, Jasper T. Jowls, Mr. Munch, and Chef Pasqually, and the lead singer of their garage band, Munch's Make Believe Band (formerly the Pizza Time Players). For the early years featuring the Pizza Time Theater, Chuck E.'s personality was nothing like he acted in the present, acting rude, sarcastic, and often making fun of his bandmates while still showing a soft side. He was also not that much of a singer in the past, something which became a part of him in the later years. After Pizza Time Theater phased out, Chuck E. became nicer and formed his current kid-loving persona in the present day.
