Cookie Monster is one of the Muppet characters from the PBS television series Sesame Street. He is best known for his voracious appetite and often eats anything and everything, regardless of whether it is actually edible. As his name suggests, his favorite food is cookies.

- Christmas Eve on Sesame Street - Cookie Monster attempts to write a letter to Santa Claus with a pencil and typewriter, and later tries calling him on the telephone. He ends up eating each of these due to imagining them all as cookies. At the Robinsons' apartment, he laments this to Gordon, who reminds him that he might get what he wants if he leaves a plate of cookies for Santa. At the very end of the special, he ends up eating the needles and decorations off of the Robinsons' Christmas tree.
