Diddy Kong is a character from Nintendo's Donkey Kong video game series. First appearing in the 1994 Rare-developed game Donkey Kong Country, he is an anthropomorphic monkey who is Donkey Kong's little buddy and sidekick. As such, he almost always accompanies DK on his adventures, notably coming to his rescue in one game (and its Game Boy counterpart), as well as starring in his own spin-off game, Diddy Kong Racing.
To date, Diddy's only appearance in a Christmas-themed production was the Donkey Kong Country cartoon episode "The Kongo Bongo Festival of Lights".
