Rugrats

The third Rugrats Christmas episode, "Babies in Toyland", partially focuses on Dil's first Christmas. When the families take a trip to Christmasland (a park that Tommy and Dil's father, Stu, designed for their Aunt Charlotte's company), his cousin, Angelica, deceives the babies into believing that Dil will never be able to celebrate Christmas again if he does not receive any good presents from Santa Claus. Angelica then ends up causing the man hired to play Santa at the park to quit, much to their dismay, as they now think Dil will never have a good Christmas again. The Rugrats then venture across the park, believing that Santa left his presents for them at his workshop. During their adventure, Dil snags a hat that Angelica grabbed at an earlier point; he and Tommy later give it as a gift to Baby Jesus at the Nativity display. Later, Angelica, having had a change of heart, gives Dil the toy reindeer that she received from Santa earlier.

All Grown Up!

Tommy and Dil working on their song

Dil and Tommy work on their Hanukkah song in "The Finster Who Stole Christmas".

Dil's subplot in the All Grown Up! Christmas episode, "The Finster Who Stole Christmas", focuses on him and Tommy trying to write a new song about Hanukkah. At one point, he asks Susie for advice on the lyrics. Later, he also finds out about Chuckie mistakenly stealing the Hillicki family's Christmas tree, and, along with Tommy, Phil, and Lil, helps Chuckie secretly return it to them. At the end of the episode, Dil and Tommy sing their new Hanukkah song at church, right after Susie finishes singing "The First Noel".

Other Christmas productions

Dil also made a few cameo appearances in the Merry Nickmas interstitial shorts. In "A Chuckie Finster Christmas, Channukah, Kwaanza, Winter Solstice", he can be seen playing a toy piano, imitating Schroeder from Peanuts. He also makes cameos in "Holiday Party" and "The 12 Days of Nickmas"; in which he is shown wearing a top hat like Happy from Rudolph's Shiny New Year.
