Disneyland Around the Seasons

"Disneyland Around the Seasons" is a Christmas episode of the NBC anthology series Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. It was the last produced episode to be hosted by Walt Disney himself, and aired three days after his passing.

Premise

Walt takes viewers on yet another tour of Disneyland to point out some of the newest additions to the park, including New Orleans Square, It's a Small World and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. He also shows off some holiday traditions, such as the Fantasy on Parade and nighttime Candlelight Processional.

Notes

Footage of It's a Small World ride was later featured in the first Disney Sing Along Songs video "Zip-a-Dee-Do-Da".
During the Fantasy on Parade sequence, a Magilla Gorilla plush from Ideal is seen on Santa's sleigh float.
