Evil Emperor Zurg is a character originally created for Pixar's Toy Story film franchise, first being mentioned in the original film and making his first appearance in Toy Story 2, but was more prominently featured as the main villain of the animated series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. In accordance of the toyline's fictitious lore, Zurg is the sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance and the archenemy of Buzz Lightyear.
To date, Zurg's only appearance in a Christmas special was the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command episode "Holiday Time", in which he steals Santa Claus' Chronal Disruptor, which is used to stop time.
