Enchantress (Beauty and the Beast)

The Enchantress is a minor character who originally appeared in the opening sequence of the 1991 Disney film Beauty and the Beast. She is the magic being who, after the prince refused to give her shelter when she was disguised as an old woman, cast the spell that turned him into the Beast. It is revealed in Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas that their encounter happened on Christmas Eve.
