Walter Wader is a shy and nervous close friend to Sara Simple, Sonny Skarlow, Sullivan Skarlow and Simon Skarlow, and the next door neighbor of Tommy Tinkerton and Charlie Tinkerton in The Legend of Frosty the Snowman.
He is the first heed to Frosty's call (although he might have broken his curfew by flying in the sky with Frosty's hat on that night).
In his appearance, he wore a white shirt, yellow vest, red bowtie, green shorts, red and white sneakers, a light green sweater, a gray jeans (only in his first-heed-to-the-call form), a brick red winter coat, blue scarf and mittens and navy blue winter pants and boots.
When Frosty has been melted through the thin ice while he was trying to save him (unknown before when he first time looks into the comic book, it seems he did not believed or understand), he joins Tommy and his crew (as a token of his misunderstanding gratitude) to foil Principal Pankley's cruel plans and restore Frosty again.
