Phillip "Flip" Phillipini is a recurring character from the Nickelodeon animated series The Loud House. He is the owner of Royal Woods' local gas station/convenience store, Flip's Food & Fuel. He is a very greedy cheapskate who frequently gouges the prices on anything he sells, has no qualms about the condition of the food he sells, and is always swindling his customers, including the Loud family.
To date, Flip's only Christmas-themed appearance was starring in the episode "A Flipmas Carol", which naturally places him in an Ebenezer Scrooge-like role. After spending Christmas Eve tricking his customers into buying low-quality Christmas items from his store at ludicrous prices, Flip is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past (Lisa Loud), Present (Lincoln Loud and Clyde McBride), and Future (Lucy Loud), who show him the origins of how he became the con artist he is now, and the effects of his scamming his customers in the present and future. It is revealed by the Ghost of Christmas Past that in his middle school years, Flip had a crush on his schoolmate Tammy Gobblesworth and wanted to dance with her at the school's Christmas dance, but he was denied entry to the dance because he did not have a ticket. He was then tricked by Scoots into buying a false ticket, and after seeing Tammy dancing with another boy, Flip swore he would not be tricked again, which is what turned him into the swindler he is now. Following the ghosts' visits, Flip swears to change his ways by making amends to his customers the following Christmas Day. During this, he learns that his lost love Tammy is now running the company that made the cooked turkey he provides for the Louds, which would set up a later episode about him reuniting with her.
