Synopsis
In Valley View Mall, which is having a Christmas in July sale, a bank robber tries to sneak through the mall, which would close in five minutes. The monsters scare away some customers in the Crystal Clear shop and head for the restroom to leave. But Oblina spots a lava lamp and becomes mesmerized by it. Ickis and Krumm take notice and they become mesmerized by it as well. The security guard locks up the mall, but reopens the door when his elbow hits the button while he is sleeping. The robber is then seen breaking through a glass window to steal jewelry. The monsters are still staring at the lava lamp and notice barking dogs (released by the security guard by impulse) and run away. The sleeping security guard hit his elbow on the button, locking the doors again. The monsters approach a room and ride a vehicle through the mall after the security guard once again opens the doors while sleeping. The dogs chase after them and the monsters try to scare them away. But the dogs are not the least bit intimidated by them and soon, the car's wheels destroy. Ickis triggers into his scare mode, but it proves futile against the dogs. As the dogs are about to attack the young monster, Oblina and Krumm place muzzles on their mouths and use them as sled dogs mushing a sleigh. Krumm notices a piece of steak set on a trapping net (by the bank robber used to trap the dogs in) and places it on the fishing hook, only to find that the dogs had already mushed the sleigh without the monsters on it. Krumm is then caught in the trapping net and Ickis and Oblina free him. Meanwhile, the bank robber breaks into the Crystal Clear shop to steal more merchandise. The monster notice that he has stolen the lava lamp and successfully scare him away, prompting the robber to turn himself in. The security guard receives acclaim and is offered a lava lamp as reward. But he throws it in the trash can, where the monsters take a mesmerizing view to it.
