Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane is the second sequel to Christmas on Cherry Lane, preceded by Season's Greetings from Cherry Lane, and followed by Deck the Halls from Cherry Lane.
Synopsis[]
In 1960, Eli and Penny take in Eli’s curmudgeonly father, Walter, and are forced to navigate some tricky family waters to get through the holidays while also working on a Christmas themed time capsule for son Alex’s school project. In 1998, we see Regina and Nelson’s first meeting: stuck together when a blizzard strands Nelson in Regina’s home on Christmas Eve. In 2015, Jessie faces a big challenge while planning her sister’s last-minute Christmas Eve wedding – the officiant is Tim, her high school sweetheart, whom she hasn’t seen in almost 20 years.

- In 1960, the Kramer family buried a steel box time capsule, among the belongings is a treasured Christmas clock. A young Nelson is mentioned to have caused a power outage in an attempt to find the Tommy Saunders show (see: Deck the Halls from Cherry Lane). Eli writes a story about his relationship with his father.
- In 1998, Regina, Nelson, Ivy, and Hector find the time capsule and Regina places the Christmas clock on the fireplace. Jessie and Tim are mentioned to have snuck into the local high school to steal a wooden reindeer for Tim's father and get locked in.
- In 2015, a grown-up Jessie talks with Max' grandmother and hears about Penny's hair saloon and the Kramers' time capsule and why they didn't dig it up when they moved away. Jesse also thanks her for recommending the Kramer book to her.
