Mr. Ivor Operatski is a character from Angelina Ballerina. Voiced by Emmy-award winner, Sir Derek Jacobi, he is the world's famous composer and musical director.
Role in the special[]
In the special, Miss Lilly brings Mr. Operatski here to help her make "Cinderella Mouse and the Ugly Whiskers" a success before Christmas. He suddenly gets mad when Henry doesn't do well while playing as the beetle. When Priscilla sang beautifully and not Angelina, he casts them as Cinderella and the ugly step-mouse, making Angelina very upset.
At the theatre, he gets madder when Angelina lacks her horridness as she sings like an angel and dances like Cinderella, and that made her tearfully quit and cast Miss Lilly as the step-mouse.
Since the show didn't go well for him, he tries to return to his lodgings but Miss Lilly comforts him about her students until she sprains her ankle really badly.
Because the show had to be canceled, he was going to leave Chipping Cheddar until Angelina stops him by telling him that her father would write about him with a huge photograph on the front page with Queen Seraphina.
The dancers managed to make the show a success by performing very well, and Maurice gets a picture of Mr. Operatski with the queen.
On the night of Christmas Eve, he dresses up as Father Christmas and surprises Henry while he's fast asleep by trying to get him to go to sleep.
