Jessica Claus is the version of Mrs. Claus who appears in the Rankin/Bass special Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, voiced by Robie Lester. Jessica was the schoolteacher of Sombertown before Kris Kringle started to bring the children toys. At first she did not condone the behavior of Kris, who was breaking the law, but he then gave her a baby doll and she began to fall in love with him and realize how silly the law is.

Jessica decided to help him and the Kringles get toys into the city and helped craft plans such as, hiding toys in the stockings and going through the chimney. She was one of his best allies in the town and told him how to bring toys to the children without being caught Unfortunately, the Burgermesiter arrests Kris, as well the other Kringles and Winter Warlock, leaving Jessica brokenhearted and jeered by the whole town. Eventually, she formulated a plan of escape by using some of Winter's magic-feed-corn, which he had to allow reindeer fly and escaped the prison through this means.

After the rescue was a success, she and Kris, now taking on his actual name of Claus, were married under the very first Christmas Tree.

In Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July, Santa calls his wife Jessica, in keeping with the movie's tying together the continuity of almost all the Rankin/Bass Christmas specials up to that point.
