Talbert, who produced it with his wife, Lyn, along with Mike Jackson and John Legend. It won two NAACP awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in a Motion Picture.

A cobblestone world comes to life in the event holiday musical tale of an embattled toymaker, his precocious granddaughter and a magical invention that, if they can get it to work in time for the holidays, could change their lives forever.

Notes

  • The snowball fight scene was filmed in the historic Elm Hill area of Norwich. Over 80 local people, some of whom work in the shops and business converted for use in the film, were used as extras.
