Joan Gardner (November 16, 1926 - December 10, 1992) was an American voice actress.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 16, 1926 and started her career on the stage. She was, however, most active as an actress for radio and television animated series such as The Adventures of Spunky and Tadpole, The Dick Tracy Show, The Famous Adventures of Mr. Magoo, The All-New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, Pound Puppies, Snorks, and the film Gay-Purree. However, Gardner is best known for her performances in Rankin/Bass specials such as Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Here Comes Peter Cottontail, The Mad, Mad, Mad Comedians, The First Easter Rabbit, and The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow.
She also wrote scripts for the television programs Pantomime Quiz and Time For Beany as well as the film The Beach Girls and the Monster. Gardner died in 1992, from cancer.
