John Winfield Stephenson (August 9, 1923 – May 15, 2015), also sometimes credited as John Stevenson, was an American actor, most active in voice-over roles. He started his acting career in numerous television shows in the 1950s and into the 1970s, but is primarily known for his voice work in animation, particularly for Hanna-Barbera, where he voiced Mr. Slate from The Flintstones and Doggie Daddy from The Quick Draw McGraw Show.
