"Joints Let You Bend" is the Christmas installment of The Most Important Person shorts.
The short features a doll who is unable to move because she has no joints, and is teased for it on Christmas Eve by the toys who do have joints. That night, however, her wish is granted, and she gains the ability to move. Happy, she performs a disjointed dance, and later, she is bought as a toy by the mother of a girl who wants to have her.
- The story was a cartoon, but for the section where the doll had to dance, she was portrayed by a live action dancer who may have been Brooke Shields, dressed in the soldier uniform worn by the doll in the animated wraparound segment.
