
Judy Garland (June 10, 1922 - June 22, 1969) was an American actress and singer who attained international stardom and critical acclaim in films and concerts. She is best known for portraying Dorothy Gale in the 1939 film version of The Wizard of Oz, Esther Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis, and Betsy Booth in the Andy Hardy movies.
