Keroppi (けろけろけろっぴ) is the main protagonist of Keroppi and Friends.
He was first seen with his friends talking with his friends about Christmas. He compliments with his brother, Curtis of what might happen if he stayed up.
He was later seen waking up one morning to find out that there was snow everyone in Donut Pond, but then he realizes that there was something shining. He goes outside to find out that it was a little star. He picks it up and takes it to the Frog House.
In the Frog House, he and his friends found out that the little star named Twinkle was trying to be a Christmas star.
Later, he brings Twinkle some dinner and finds out that she wasn't there. He then finds her up a tree when the wind starts to blow stronger. He catches her and tells everyone that Twinkle was all right.
The next day, Keroppi calls his friends to the Frog House to tell them about Twinkle. He then gets an idea to Soak's generator and plug her into the tree so she can go home again.
Later, up in the tree, Twinkle takes time to light up, and Junk tunes the generator up, and she still does. Keroppi starts to announce everyone that Twinkle was glowing, then tells Junk to turn it up, and put it up high as it can go. He does, but the decorations start to fall out, and Twinkle starts to give up. Keroppi then decides that they can go back down. They try to go back down, but he starts to fall, and the branch starts to break. Suddenly, Twinkle starts to glow and puts Keroppi down safely, and he finds out that she was a true Christmas star. He and his friends start to say goodbye to Twinkle and wish her a merry Christmas ending the episode.
