Lana L. Loud is one of the main characters from the Nickelodeon animated series The Loud House. She is the fourth-youngest of Lincoln Loud's ten sisters, being just two minutes older than her twin, Lola. Lana is a complete polar opposite to Lola, being a very happy tomboy who loves to play, especially in mud. Contrary to her love of anything unhygienic and filthy, Lana gets along quite well with her siblings and is also a skilled handyworker. Lana is also friendly to all animals, such as her pets, and is known to do whatever it takes to protect them, even when it goes against common sense.

Appearances in Christmas specials[]

The Loud House[]

As one of the show's main characters, Lana appears prominently in the show's first Christmas episode, "11 Louds a Leapin'". Her subplot in the special has her laying traps all around the house with the intention of catching one of Santa Claus' reindeer to keep as a pet. As a running gag throughout the episode, the other characters accidentally activate her traps, leading Lana to express glee at knowing her traps work. When Lincoln tells her and the other sisters that he found out that Mr. Grouse is unable to spend Christmas with his own family, Lana is surprised to learn that Mr. Grouse also has a pretty big family, and she puts aside her desire to catch a reindeer so she and her family can spread Christmas cheer to him. On Christmas morning, Lana is shown to have received a dungeon playset resembling Castle Grayskull from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. At the very end of the special, she then thinks that she finally caught a reindeer, not realizing that Luan actually got caught in her reindeer net.

In the online-exclusive Loud House short "12 Days of Christmas", in which the Loud family sings their version of the titular song, Lana sings her line as "eight yummy mud pies," as it is shown that she has covered the kitchen in mud.

Lana doesn't have an easy person to shop for

Lana finds she has a difficult person to shop for in "Season's Cheatings".

Lana is much less prominent in the show's next Christmas episodes, "Season's Cheatings" and "A Flipmas Carol". In the former episode, she takes part in her family's annual gift-swap, but it is never mentioned which sister's name she pulled from the hat (though Lana's expression suggests that her recipient is not an easy person to shop for). Oddly, when Lynn Sr. gives all the kids a Christmas cauliflower cupcake, Lana, who normally loves anything yucky, doesn't seem to want to eat hers. At the end of the episode, we see that she received a box full of mud, to her delight. In the latter episode, when the way-past-its-expiration-date turkey that Flip sold to the Louds explodes in their kitchen, Lana goes to help her father fight it off.

Lana and her family also had a cameo in The Casagrandes episode "A Very Casagrandes Christmas". At the very end of the episode, the Louds show up at the Casagrandes' apartment to visit them for Christmas after Vanzilla breaks down.

The main show's next Christmas episode, "Snow Escape", finds Lana and her siblings trying to get to school on the last day before winter vacation while avoiding snowball attacks from Lynn Jr. Lana is unfortunately taken out early on, but is shown to be okay at the end of the episode.

Twins decorate tree

Lana and Lola decorate the tree in "'Twas the Fight Before Christmas".

Lana's latest Christmas appearance was in the episode "'Twas the Fight Before Christmas", in which she and her siblings try to get their father, Lynn Loud Sr., to stop feuding with his brother Lance.

The Really Loud House[]

Lana's next Christmas-related appearance was the live-action movie A Loud House Christmas. Early on in the movie, she is shown putting little reindeer antlers on her pet frog, Hops. When her parents decide they should take a family vacation to Miami for Christmas, Lana is eager to go, saying that "the moist would do wonders for Hops' scales." However, after the parents are forced to cancel the trip thanks to Lincoln and Clyde's "sharkodile" hoax, neither Lana nor Hops are happy about this.

Mentions in other Christmas specials[]

In The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular, when Lincoln shows up to give season's greetings from himself and his sisters, he mentions Lana alongside his other sisters.
