Sparkle equals happiness.

— Leni in A Loud House Christmas.

Leni L. Loud is one of the main characters from the Nickelodeon animated series The Loud House. She is the second-oldest of Lincoln Loud's ten sisters, and also the most dim-witted of the eleven siblings. Despite her falling into the "dumb blonde" stereotype, she is artistically and creatively inclined, as shown by her skills in fashion design and wood-carving, and she is also the nicest of the sisters. In fact, her willingness to help others resulted in her getting a job at the clothing store Reininger's in the show's third season.

Appearances in Christmas specials[]

Being one of the show's main characters, Leni naturally appears prominently in the show's first Christmas episode, "11 Louds a Leapin'". As a running gag throughout the episode, she keeps trying to make herself a new Christmas outfit, only to find out after she's finished the outfit that the material she has used were actually decorations. Specifically, she finds herself making outfits out of her mother's tablecloth, tinsel, and the family's stockings. Later, after Lincoln tells her and the others about how lonely their neighbor, Mr. Grouse, truly is, the family spreads Christmas cheer to him, and Leni presents him with a new vest... made from his curtains. The next morning, it is shown that Leni received a new pair of high-heel shoes for Christmas.

In the online-exclusive Loud House short "12 Days of Christmas", in which the Loud family sings their version of the titular song, Leni sings that she got two turtleneck sweaters, though she doesn't seem to like them very much.

Leni blurts out her recipient

Leni accidentally reveals that she's Lynn's Secret Santa in "Season's Cheatings".

Leni's next appearance in a Christmas special was the fifth-season episode "Season's Cheatings". In it, the siblings all pick names out of a Santa Claus hat for the family's annual gift swap. In Leni's case, however, she blurts out that she is Lynn Jr.'s Secret Santa right from the start. Later that night, Lincoln, fearing he won't be getting the Rip Hardcore backpack he wants for Christmas, tries to swap out Lily's name-card (which has his name on it) with Leni's, since it'll be easy to convince Leni to get him the backpack. However, Lynn Jr. prevents Lincoln from doing so. At the end of the episode, it is shown that Leni got Lynn an indoor field goal (consisting of a miniature football and goalpost).

Leni also appears in "Season's Cheatings"' partner episode, "A Flipmas Carol". However, her role there is much smaller, not even having any dialogue, due to the episode being A Christmas Carol adaptation focusing on Flip.

Leni and her family also have a cameo in The Casagrandes episode "A Very Casagrandes Christmas", in which they visit the Casagrandes for Christmas after Vanzilla breaks down in Great Lakes City.

Leni with Tanya

Leni with Tanya the mannequin in A Loud House Christmas.

At the beginning of the live-action movie A Loud House Christmas, Leni is once again at work on a new Christmas dress, using Tanya, the mannequin from her job at Reininger's, as the model. After Lori, Luna, and Luan all say they have different plans for Christmas, Leni is among the sisters excited to go on vacation to Miami. But Lincoln, who's not keen on the idea, steals Tanya so that he and Clyde can use her as the victim in their staged video of a sharkodile attack supposedly happening in Miami. Unfortunately, because Lincoln forgets to bring Tanya back after he's done filming the video, Leni is fired from her job. Eventually, Lincoln confesses his actions to his family, telling Leni that Tanya is okay. Presumably, Leni gets her job back after this.

Back in the animated series, the next Christmas episode, "Snow Escape", finds Leni and her younger siblings trying to get to school on the last day before winter vacation while avoiding snowball attacks from Lynn Jr.

Leni's latest Christmas appearance is in the episode "Twas the Fight Before Christmas", in which she and her siblings team up with their cousins to put an end to their respective fathers' family feud.

Mentions in other Christmas specials[]

In The All-Star Nickmas Spectacular, when Lincoln shows up to give season's greeting from himself and his sisters, he mentions Leni alongside his other sisters.
