Lex Luthor is a billionaire and a criminal mastermind who is Superman's greatest enemy. Luthor manages to keep his image as a legitimate businessman for a while, but once his actions are exposed to the whole world, he becomes a full-fledged supervillain who tries to destroy the Justice League, forming the Injustice Gang, financing Project Cadmus and joining Gorilla Grodd's Legion of Doom. Luthor appears in comic books published by DC Comics and was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
