Lil' Santa's Book Club: The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus (or Lil' Santa's Book Club: The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus - Part 1) is an video storybook from Once Upon a Tale Entertainment, a division of WowNow Entertainment, that premiered directly-to-DVD on November 29, 2019.
Synopsis[]
The narration of Santa Claus describes the setting of Christmas Eve in the North Pole, and Lil' Santa's Book Club is about to begin. The book club, consisting of Santa himself and his reindeer pal Mittens, itself tells a magical Christmas story each year to everyone, including their visited children far and wide, and the story is about to begin in Santa's house. Inside, the kids (Hutch the Raccoon, Olive the Ant and Shelly the Turtle) talks to Santa about Mittens through character developement, while they are waiting for the story to begin. Mittens has picked out the story about Santa himself, and that is L. Frank Balm's "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus". Santa settles the kids down and Mittens starts the tale.
For 1 hour, 26 minutes and 28 seconds, Mittens is reading "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus", told through visual illustrations and CGI animation from Santa's house by switching from animation to iconographics vice-versa. After the last scene in Santa's house fades to black, Mittens pauses the story as the notice appears just before the speed-up end credits:
