Guadalupe "Lupe" Toucan is on of the main characters from the Cartoon Network animated series My Gym Partner's a Monkey. Lupe is loud-mouthed, acerbic, dominating and materialistic, although she considers herself to be mild-tempered and low maintenance, despite being quite the reverse. She speaks with a somewhat exaggerated Chicano dialect and is known to have some issues involving what she sees as her overly large beak. Lupe loves popular culture, such as celebrities and fashion.
In "Have Yourself a Joyful Little Animas", Lupe celebrated Animas, along with all the other animals. She clonked Adam on the head, for not wearing periwinkle on the first day, like he was supposed to. She knew that he was new and also didn't have the animal instincts, but she didn't let that stop her from giving him the punishment. In Miss Chameleon's class, she said that her favorite thing about Animas was the presents and cool things she got at that time of year. This sparked up a what would be ongoing debate between her and Windsor, who scoffed at her idealism, saying that she supported the corporate scheme of Animas becoming a cash-grab for large companies to sell worthless merchandise, depriving the holiday of it's spirit in the process. On the second day of Animas, Lupe mentioned partying her tailfeathers off, when they were off at the beach, partying. On the final day of Animas, everyone sat around the table and gave their two cents on what they thought the meaning of Animas was. Windsor said to have learned from Lupe and understood that Animas being monetized is just the corporate hacks celebrating the Animas spirit in their own ways and it should not be frowned upon the way it always is. Lupe on the other hand, didn't learn anything about Windsor's side of the argument and continued to say that the true meaning of Animas was to get really expensive stuff.
