Mario is the main character of the Super Mario Bros. video game series, and the mascot of video game company Nintendo. Originally introduced in the 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong, he is an Italian-American plumber who lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. He is often foiling the plans of the villainous turtle Bowser and rescuing Princess Peach.
Mario's Christmas-centric appearances come in the form of "Koopa Klaus", "Santa Claus is Coming to Flatbush", and "The Night Before Cave Christmas", three Christmas-themed episodes of the cartoon shows based on his games.
