Merry Christmas, George Bailey is a PBS Christmas Charity special, produced at the historic Pasadena Playhouse by the Jimmy Hawkins Company (Hawkins served as executive producer) and KCET. Benefiting the Pediatric AIDS Foundation as a Pledge Drive, it is a performance of the Lux Radio Theatre version of It's a Wonderful Life, which was originally broadcast on CBS Radio (presented by Lux) on March 10, 1947.
