"Merry Christmas, Mrs. Moskowitz" is the fourth Christmas episode of the NBC sitcom Frasier, aired as the tenth episode of the show's sixth season (though it is actually the season's eleventh episode in production order).

Christmas is approaching. While out shopping with Roz and looking for a menorah for Frederick, Frasier attempts to covertly purchase a sweater for her. Just before she realizes, another woman, Helen Moskowitz, rescues him by pretending that she is buying it. She recognizes him from the radio, and suggests a date with her daughter, Fay. The reluctant Frasier is pleasantly surprised when he meets her, although she is embarrassed at being fixed up by her mother.

Things go well between them, and Fay visits Frasier's apartment with Helen on the way to the airport. He learns that she believed he was Jewish, and although this is not a problem for her, she fears her mother will disapprove. He agrees to hide the Christmas decorations and pretend to be so, with Niles and Martin also doing so. The deception proves tricky to sustain, as Eddie appears dressed as Santa Claus, a deliveryman brings a Christmas tree, and Daphne is busy organizing a holiday revue downstairs starring Niles dressed as Jesus.

The episode was made available on the Frasier: The Complete 6th Season DVD set, released by Paramount Home Entertainment on September 13, 2005. It will make its high-definition debut on the Frasier: The Complete Series Blu-ray set, to be released on November 8, 2022.

The episode won Jay Kogen the 1999 Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series. Kelsey Grammer received a Directors Guild of America nomination for directing it, which was his first and only one for directing.
