He plays outside a rich man's window, and the spoiled brat kid inside refuses all the expensive toys his father and butler try to give him, the spoiled rich kid peers through the window outside and decides he wants Pluto. Mickey isn't selling, but when his bass gets destroyed by a passing sleigh and he sees a cat family's house full of poor children with their father in jail and their weeping mother crying, he changes his mind and sells Pluto to the rich family. He uses the money to buy lots of toys and a Christmas dinner in a basket, and, dressed as [[Santa Claus]], he delivers it to the poor children and their mother, who is now snoring when he makes it back to their house. Meanwhile, the brat has been torturing Pluto, he throws expensive things toy and even cakes at Pluto, his father and the butler. The father has had enough and sends Pluto away. Next, he drags his son onto his knee, pulls his pants down and spanks him, much to Pluto's delight. Finally, Pluto and Mickey are reunited and enjoy a roasted turkey tied to the former's tail. |

Mickey's Good Deed is a Christmas-themed Mickey Mouse cartoon released on December 17, 1932. Set during Christmas at the height of the Great Depression, the cartoon depicts Mickey and his dog Pluto as poor street performers who try to make it a happy Christmas for an even poorer family.

In 2004, the original black-and-white version was made available on the Mickey Mouse in Black and White, Volume 2 DVD set in the Walt Disney Treasures collection. Additionally, the colorized version was featured on the Cartoon Classics Favorites - Volume 8: Holiday Celebration with Mickey and Pals DVD in 2005.
