Mickey's Orphans is a 1931 Mickey Mouse cartoon, and the first Christmas-themed production starring the character.
Synopsis
A bunch of orphan kids (depicted as kittens) are left on Mickey's doorstep in a basket. They make life really difficult as Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto try to give them a Christmas party.
Availability
The short was released on home video for the first time on the VHS tape Walt Disney Cartoon Classics - Volume 5: Disney's Best of 1931-1948, released in 1983. It made its DVD debut on the Walt Disney Treasures DVD set Mickey Mouse in Black and White, released in 2002. It was also made available on the Vintage Mickey DVD in 2005.
