Milhouse playing Bonestorm

Milhouse playing Bonestorm in "Marge Be Not Proud".

Milhouse Mussolini Van Houten is the unlucky best friend of Bart Simpson from the animated TV series The Simpsons.

Appearances in Christmas specials[]

  • "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire" - In the series' very first episode, Milhouse is first seen with Bart and Lewis at the mall, overlooking the mall Santa and commenting on how gullible the kids visiting him are, unaware that the Santa is actually Bart's dad, Homer. Bart dares Milhouse to sit on Santa's lap, but Milhouse retaliates by daring Bart to go pull off his beard.
  • "Marge Be Not Proud" - Early on in the show's second Christmas episode, Milhouse is shown to have gotten Bonestorm, the new violent video game that Bart wants. He brags that he's already having a good time just from having entered his name as "Thrillhouse" on the player registration screen... which is cut off due to the game only allowing up to eight letters for the name (the irony of this being that if he'd used his real name, he wouldn't have this issue). Bart wants to play the game with him, but Milhouse claims that it's only a single-player game, despite it being a fighting game, and then gets his mother Luann to throw Bart out by falsely claiming that he is swearing. Later in the episode, after Marge has stopped giving Bart any motherly love due to finding out about his attempt to shoplift the game from the Try-N-Save, Bart comes to Milhouse for advice. However, the conversation quickly shifts towards a ball-in-a-cup toy that Milhouse is now playing with, apparently having already gotten bored with Bonestorm. When Bart starts fighting Milhouse over the toy, Milhouse again calls Luann to throw him out, this time saying that Bart is smoking.
