Miyamoto Usagi is the protagonist of the comic book series Usagi Yojimbo, later also well-known for his guest appearances in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. He is a bipedal talking humanoid samurai rabbit from Feudal Japan on an alternate Earth, where animals are the dominant species instead of humans.
