Mr. Munch is a main character of the Chuck E. Cheese (formerly Pizza Time Theater) chain of family entertainment centers.
Munch is one of Chuck E. Cheese's friends, serving as the keyboardist of Munch's Make Believe Band. He was introduced in the second location of the original Pizza Time Theatre, replacing Crusty the Cat. He is goofy, friendly, and sometimes dim-witted, and likes to eat lots of different foods, with pizza being his favorite. Was initially from an unknown planet in the Pizza Time Theatre era, but was later reinvented into a more generic Earth citizen when the show underwent Concept Unification. The 2012 Rockstar relaunch reimagines Munch as a monster-alien hybrid from Planet Purple who crashed on Earth and was the last to join Chuck E.'s friendship circle. His version of Christmas is called the Purple Comet Festival with their version of Santa Claus being called Zorp-Ah-Glorp Dor-Bah. He is also the oldest of his many siblings.
