Nickelodeon's Ho-Ho Holiday Special is an hour-length live-action variety show featuring the stars from the various Nickelodeon sitcoms at the time of its production. It premiered simultaneously on Nickelodeon, NickToons, and TeenNick on December 5, 2015.
Synopsis
In a new spectacular hour-long variety special featuring musical numbers and comedy sketches, every Nickelodeon star under the sun, including Brec Bassinger, Buddy Handleson, Lilimar, and Coy Stewart from Bella and the Bulldogs, Benjamin "Lil P-Nut" Flores, Jr. from Game Shakers, Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo from The Thundermans, Lizzy Greene, Aidan Gallagher, Casey Simpson, and Mace Coronel from Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Jace Norman from Henry Danger, and Breanna Yde and Jade Pettyjohn from School of Rock, shows up for the most amazing holiday party ever. However, it soon becomes clear that the whole evening is an evil trap devised by a mysterious stranger. The stars now have to struggle through various holiday-themed obstacles and challenges if they want to escape and find their way home.

Jack Griffo is at the White House with President Barack Obama (Reggie Brown), when a mysterious hand appears to hand him a letter, he's invited to a party with other Nick stars, and sings "I'm Invited" to that effect, he's joined by Breanna Yde, Lizzy Greene, and Kira Kosarin.

Jack disgusts Buddy with his ice cream and cookie sandwich, Kira inadvertently admits to Jade to having broken a statue, Aidan is in want of eggnog, Casey has a crush on Brec, and Coy Stewart arrive late in costume, believing the party to be "a celebration of holiday costumes", Lilimar sets him straight that it's "a celebration of holiday customs", as a mysterious villain (voiced by Diedrich Bader) watches over them. | |
Tinsel and Jingle finish construction on an exploding dollhouse. The girl, however, only wanted a regular one, which then explodes. Tinsel then suggests a "Guest the Gift" board game, which happens to be Jingle's third favorite game show... | |
"It's time for everyone's third favorite game show, Guess the Gift!"
Host Dilbert Palmiero (Jace Norman) attempts to have contestants Fred (Cree Cicchino) and Rick (Benjamin Flores Jr.) guess different gifts. The wrapping on Fred's gifts reveals the item inside, however Rick's are twice rolled up socks in the shape of something else (Guitar & Bike). Rick, angered thinks his figured out the ruse and on his last guess sarcastically guesses that a gift in the shape of a car is more rolled up socks...however, it's actually a car (Red 2014 BMW) with a million dollars in cash in the trunk. Enraged, Rick attempts to steal the car and money, and is immediately stopped by the Queen of England's Royal Guard, Nigel. Brec, Casey, Kira, and Mace split into a group as Kira breaks an expensive sculpture and Casey hits on Brec. They find their room, and it's filled with walnuts. Their host begins making bad "nut" puns. Their objective is to find one key in the 2,000,008 walnuts. Mace finds it on his first try by opening it with his belly button. | |
Jingle is so excited he wants Tinsel to skip to the end, which he obliges...THE END! Now Jingle wants to hear the parts he missed, before Tinsel can continue the gift wrapping machine breaks and as Jingle tries to fix it, he gets sucked inside the machine and wrapped. | |
Four snowflakes sing "Snowflakes", however, one believes another one may in fact be an apple. | |
Breanna, Buddy, Coy and Lizzy enter the Gingerbread room. The clue states "the key to your freedom, lies in these gingerbread walls". They believe it means the key is in one of the gingerbread houses, which Breanna has already started eating. Buddy, however, refuses. | |
Aidan, Lilimar, Jack, and Jade enter a third room that begins filling with eggnog. | |
In the Gingerbread room, Coy notes that Buddy is only pretending to eat. Then Buddy reminds them that the clue was "the key to your freedom, lies in these gingerbread walls", and believes this means the clue was in the actual walls, which Breanna has already began eating. | |
In the Eggnog room, the villain makes bad puns and reveals the only way they can get out is if they can name the twelve gifts given in "The Twelve Days Christmas". They nail the partridge in a pear tree, but have trouble remembering the rest. Aidan then decides to drink the eggnog. Lilimar and Jade scream as Kira, Brec, Casey, and Mace turn the corner. They're right outside the room, Casey opens the door to reveal that Aidan drank the room dry. | |
Tinsel and Jingle have a drink of eggnog, revealing it as coming from penguins and the marshmallows as snowman poop, as they get excited for The Rachel Snow Show. | |
Rachel Snow (Sydney Park) and her beleaguered assistant, Olive (Ella Anderson), give a makesnowver to Marty's (Sean Ryan Fox) friend. Next week, she'll give one to the cast of Nickelodeon's Make It Pop (Dale Whibley, Erika Tham, Louriza Tronco, Megan Lee) | |
Coy and Lizzy are sick of eating the wall, and Breanna has switched to chips, as Buddy points out they can likely just push through the wall, which they do by freaking out Jack and Lilimar. As they attempt an exit, the villain locks them in, and refuses to let them leave for 24 hours, forcing them to miss Christmas. | |
Noticing an open window, Buddy plans to launch Maya through it, but fails, and slams her into the wall. | |
Santa arrives at the workshop, and Tinsel and Jingle accidentally knock him out with an errant bowling ball from the launcher. Carl arrives and Jingle tries to distract him with a Yuletube video. | |
Ethel (Haley Tju) and Rose (Lillimar) sing "Bad Giftin' Grannies," a song about grandmothers getting revenge on their grandchildren for refusing to stay in touch with them. | |
After failing to revive Santa, Tinsel continues with the story. | |
Buddy plans to use the fireplace to aid in their escape, and ends up getting stuck on a revolving platform that reveals their captor as Rico Rodriquez. He wanted to perform a Christmas song with them, but none of them replied. They then reveal that none of them received invitations, as Rico forgot to send them. | |
They forgive him, and perform "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" for the closing number, featuring the casts from the previous inserts as well. | |
Santa comes too, and he loves the bowling ball launcher. In the excitement, they accidentally knock Carl out with another ball. |
