Peter with the Darling children in Mickey's Magical Christmas.
Peter Pan is the main character of the 1904 stage play of the same name, written by J. M. Barrie. He is a free-spirited and mischievous young boy from Never Land, known for his refusal to grow up and his ability to fly without wings. He leads the Lost Boys, a group of young kids living on Never Land, and along with his best friend Tinkerbell, he frequently battles the vile pirate Captain Hook. The story has been adapted many times, first by Barrie himself as the novel Peter Pan and Wendy in 1911, and subsequently as musicals, feature films such as the 1953 Disney animated film, and television shows such as Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates.
