Puss in Boots is a character from DreamWorks Animation's Shrek film series and the titular protagonist of the spin-off film of the same name. Based loosely on the fairy tale character of the same name and introduced in Shrek 2, he is one of Shrek's best friends/sidekicks alongside Donkey, and Humpty's brother figure.
