Raphael (or Raph for short) is one of the four protagonists of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and related media. Named after the 16th century Italian painter Raphael, he is the most impatient, aggressive and hot-headed of the turtles. He has an extremely short temper and displays considerable joy in combat, genuinely enjoying life-threatening situations where he can prove his skill. His weapons of choice are twin sai.
