Spike is Tommy Pickles's pet dog in the Nickelodeon animated series Rugrats. Spike is portrayed as being an average pet dog; loyal and friendly, and often willing to aid Tommy whenever he is needed.
Appearances in Christmas episodes
Rugrats
Spike appeared in two of the three Rugrats Christmas episodes, "The Santa Experience" and "Let It Snow", and made a cameo in the third Christmas episode, "Babies In Toyland".
Other Christmas productions
Spike appeared in one Nickmas segment, which is "A Chuckie Finster Chuckie, Channukah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice" (a parody of A Charlie Brown Christmas), where he plays the role of Snoopy. At one point in the short, he is shown mimicking Angelica's actions, in the same way Snoopy did to Lucy van Pelt in the original special.
