The Blue Carbuncle (Голубой Карбункул) is a 1980 Soviet Christmas TV movie produced by Belarusfilm, starring Algimantas Masiulis as Sherlock Holmes and Ernst Romanov as Dr. Watson. This is an adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle's short story The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle.
Summary[]
The history of the Blue Carbuncle began in India. After cutting, it began to belong to the Raja, and then a rich Englishwoman brought it to London. The beautiful but vicious Katarina is ready to marry poor James on the condition that he steals the Blue Carbuncle of Countess Morcar. James has to go to a meeting with Bloody Sam, having stocked up on a recommendation from Stinky Bob, and Holmes with Dr. Watson will have to investigate the crime.
